Embarrasment of Non-governmental Schools
Citizens in Suqian City dissapointed with the local education sytem were permitted by local government to establish their own private schools, effectively raising the bar for classrooms all over the city. After the local government increased funding, public schools improved dramatically, and now the private ones face imminent closing due to mounting debts.
