China's LCD Television Brands Gain Ground

China's domestic brands have gained ground in the liquid crystal display (LCD) television market, which has been overwhelmed by foreign brands for many years. In the past months, the retail sales for China's domestic brands have exceeded the foreign ones and occupied nearly 60% of market shares through low price strategy, according to market monitor data compiled by Oliver Wyman, a market research and consulting service provider.
