Ministry of Commerce Says Many Steps Neccessary to Tackle Excess Reserves

The Ministry of Commerce Wednesday said that China’s accumulation of foreign exchange reserves isn't just a result of the country's trade surplus, and that many measures are required to address the problem.

The ministry said it will now stick to the principle of “stabilizing exports, adjusting their structure and promoting balance”.
