19 Killed in Central China Coal Mine Blast

As of April 2, the number of deaths caused by a coal mine blast that occurred in the central province of Henan on Wednesday had risen to 19, and some 24 people were believed to still be trapped underground with slim hopes of survival, local authorities said Friday. After the incident, the coal mine owner fled and is still at large.
