Shenzhen Approves Ten-year Plan

According to a notice released by the general office of the State Council, the State Council has approved a ten year development plan in Shenzhen. The plan requires the Special Economic Zone restrict its population to fewer than 11 million and limit its construction sites to less than 890 square kilometers until 2020. The council also expects Shenzhen to encourage relations with Hong Kong and promote green commuting.
