Ministries to Conduct Inspection of Lead Battery Manufacturers

A video conference was held yesterday by nine ministerial agencies, including the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, to discuss a full inspection of lead battery manufacturers responsible or illegal, environmentally-destructive activities. The conference also discussed close supervision of pollution-heavy enterprises and increased efforts to reduce carbon emissions.
