Beijing's Second-hand Housing Market Heats Up

Fears that preferential policies introduced to prop up the domestic property market during the recent downturn wiil be wound back by the end of this year, have led to a huge boom in second-hand housing transactions in the capital over the past month. In November, 32,784 second-hand deals were reached in Beijing, up 57% compared with October. This is the first time that the number of transactions have ever exceeded 30,000.
