Wang Yi, former vice president of China Development Bank, was handed a death sentence; his sentence has been suspended for two years. According to the verdict, Wang accepted bribes worth 11.96 million yuan. Liu Fangfei, a famous CCTV anchor who is rumored to be Wang's ex-girlfriend, is not involved in this case.
